The other finishing of brass cable glands are done by electro-tin, nickel and cadmium, as per customer requirement. Double compression glands, used in all types of SWA extruded bedding cables are manufactured from brass and are machined to the required size. The nickel plated finish renders them weatherproof, watertight and helps prevent corrosion.Each gland consists of a brass body, armour clamp and ring, gland barrel sealing nut, two PCP seals and skid washer check nut and flat washer between the gland barrel and check nut is provided to the prevent the drag on outer seal. These glands conform to BS 6121 Part 1 standards.
